China methionine market remains weak despite signs of stabilising
Prices of methionine were stable to lower during the week ending January 12.
Availability of methionine increased while trade remained slow due to a sluggish poultry market. Most traders stood firm but several of them continued to give discounts in efforts to close deals.
Price quotes of imported dl-methionine were stable to lower in the range of RMB31-32.50/kg.
