China Threonine: Climbing output costs lift prices (week ended Jan 11, 2021)
 

Threonine prices surged further as the costs of production increased amid soaring record-breaking corn costs. Buyers placed orders eagerly in efforts to secure threonine supplies.
 
Export prices surged to US$1.38/kg.
 
With corn prices in the record-breaking mode, threonine producers are set to stand firm. Demand will remain robust as overseas and local buyers expand stockpiles while the epidemic situation in China worsens.
