China Live Hog Weekly: Robust demand lifts prices despite increased supply (week ended Jan 6, 2016)
After prices consolidated lower over the past two weeks, hog demand firmed up lately lending strong support to the market. Hence, even as release volumes increased 2.8%, lifting pork carcass volumes to 10,325 tonnes, hog prices rebounded 1.5% with demand robust.
