1. Use some Boolean tools like:

Including Words
AND: A comma (,) in your keyword search is equivalent to "all of the words" in Advanced Search. For example, "egg, chicken" searches for news stories with the words egg AND chicken in the headline.

OR: Using (|) to separate your keywords is equivalent to using "any of these words" in Advanced Search. For example, "egg | chicken" searches for news stories with the words egg OR chicken in the headline.

Excluding Words
Using the minus sign (-) is equivalent to "none of these words" in Advanced Search. For example, "egg, -chicken" searches news on eggs only. All news with "chicken" in the headline will be excluded.

Exact Phrase
In Advanced Search, enter your keyword into "exact phrase". Please note that when using this function, words must be entered as is. For example, if you search for "chicken eggs", stories with the headline "eggs and chickens" or "eggs chicken" will not appear.

2. Our keyword search function is NOT case-sensitive.

3. Narrow your search results by choosing your keywords carefully e.g.,

- try "bird flu" instead of "animal diseases"
- "US, corn" instead of "world, agriculture"

4. Specifying helps narrow your search. So instead of typing "meat", using "beef" or "chicken" would achieve more accurate results.

With a Basic Membership, you can also buy contents from our eBookstore and use the Hot Jobs section.

- Standard Membership (individual) allows members to view for one year our full website contents such as news and market reports. You will also receive six issues of FEED Business Asia magazine or MEAT & LIVESTOCK Business Asia, access to all technical papers and the chance to participate in our Feed Classroom lessons.

Additionally, Standard Membership allows you to post your resume on our eJobs system and receive weekly e-Newsletters. All these for a fee of US$600 per annum.

- Premium Membership is our corporate membership plan that allows you to choose from a customised list of services.
