Zinpro appoints country manager for Russia and CIS republics
Zinpro Corporation has announced that Timur Akmaliev has joined its subsidiary in Russia as country manager for Russia and other republics of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
Earlier this year, Zinpro's Russian subsidiary obtained registration in Russia and Kazakhstan for nine Performance Minerals® products, making its performance-proven organic trace minerals immediately available for use by the feed and animal production industry in Russia and CIS republics.
Akmaliev will manage all sales and marketing activities for Russia and CIS republics and be based from Zinpro's sales office in Moscow.
"We are pleased to have Timur join the Zinpro team and provide key support for this vital region for animal protein production," said Boudewijn Mys, Zinpro's regional manager of Russia and CIS. "His in-country animal production experience and extensive animal nutrition knowledge will be a tremendous asset in helping new and existing customers to improve the performance and wellness of the animals in their care."
Akmaliev has more than a decade of experience in the animal nutrition business in Russia and CIS republics, most recently as sales manager and business development manager for multinational feed-additive companies. Previously, he had worked as a key account manager for a poultry feed manufacturer as well as a regional sales manager.
Akmaliev earned his doctorate in agricultural poultry and animal nutrition from Volgograd State Agricultural University in Russia. He also holds a master's degree in management and a bachelor's degree in agricultural poultry and animal nutrition, both from Volgograd State University.
