Market analysis

Lysine producers lifted prices in several regions as demand improved while buyers restocked inventories after the recent round of price fall. However, in the south and southwest, price quotes, which were substantially higher, dropped over the week.

On average, lysine prices slid marginally by 0.22%.

In Europe, price quotes for Q4 deliveries remained flat in the range of EUR1.32-1.40/kg.

Market forecast

Lysine market should remain stable in the coming week as buyers stock inventories. However, sharp price hikes are unlikely as soymeal prices stay soft while hog population is flat.
