DSM launches news app for animal nutrition and health science

DSM has launched the DSM ANH Science News App which has been created to provide a comprehensive, expert-led resource on the latest research in the animal nutrition and health (ANH) industry.

Feed industry players at all levels have a growing need to be regularly updated on the latest scientific news to keep up with industry developments. Increasingly busy lifestyles, however, do not allow enough time for information research and, to answer such a demand, DSM has developed a tool that will facilitate industry-wide access to the latest peer-reviewed scientific studies and publications.

The DSM Science News App, designed for industry professionals and anyone with an interest in the field, offers an on-demand library of animal nutrition and health abstracts across a variety of species and topics, including poultry, ruminants, swine, aquaculture and pets (companion animals).

Pim Langhout, director of Animal Nutrition and Health for DSM in EMEA, said: "DSM has over 50 years' experience and insight into the animal nutrition and health industry, and we are delighted to use our long-standing position in the market to create the DSM ANH Science News App for Animal Nutrition and Health, a tool which is the first of its kind in the feed industry."

The free app provides the support needed by using applied science, promoting shared knowledge and allowing users to stay at the forefront of sector research and developments.

A filter option in the app allows the selection of abstracts by species and key words, letting users tailor the app experience to their topics of interest. The app is updated regularly, and users can choose to receive an alert when a new collection of abstracts has landed for 24/7, on-demand scientific insight.

The app is available to download from the Apple and Google Play stores.
