Nabel launches new egg grading and packing system
Nabel has begun selling Canopus series since August 2009. The system has the highest capacity of 120,000 eggs per hour and 80,000 eggs per hour in Japan.
The system is expected to help boost working efficiency and the expansion of egg grading factories. The system is also adaptable to the needs of large -size poultry farms.
UK firm develops broiler crates to help battle against campylobacter
The new range of its crates which incorporate antimicrobial protection uses the silver-based Biocote system.
Once the Biocote silver ion technology is incorporated into the crates at the manufacturing stage they can inhibit the growth of bacteria, such as campylobacter, on their surface, reducing the risk of crates becoming a source of contamination and infection in the poultry industry.
