Pancosma celebrates 70 years of innovation and success
This year's Pancosma Annual Reunion (PAR), to be held in Evian-les-Bains, France, will celebrate the company's 70th anniversary.
PAR brings together Pancosma's
employees and close partners from around the world, where new products and concepts are deployed.
200 people from around forty countries constitute this highly diverse network. The Pancosma community exchanges ideas on the latest in product development and animal nutrition with the active participation of some of Pancosma's renowned scientific network, as well as industry and business partners. With this year's theme of "Unleashing Innovation", the spotlight will focus on the strides that Pancosma has made over the last seven decades in the field of feed additives, and how its innovative strategies continue to shape its present and future.
The PAR will take place in Evian-les-Bains. This location was chosen as it is close to the origins of the company in Geneva, Switzerland, the heart of the flavor and fragrance industry.
Pancosma traces its modest beginnings back to 1947 when it started creating flavors for animal feed. Over the next 70 years, the company diversified its portfolio of products, entering the bioactives and organic trace minerals market, and pioneered several innovative products and concepts.
While it has retained its market leading position in the palatants segment, Pancosma has built prominent positions in the bioactives and organic trace mineral markets.
The company continues to invest heavily in innovation, boasting a pipeline full of original concepts and products.
In recent years, Pancosma has stepped up its international development by taking solid positions in three of the world's major markets: Brazil with the acquisition of Btech based in Valinhos, North America with the construction of a green field plant in Drummondville, Canada, and China with the acquisition of a production facility in Jiangsu. This expansion has gone along with the modernization of its historical European sites.
