Zinpro hosts trace mineral symposium in China
Zinpro Corporation is hosting the International Trace Mineral Nutrition Symposium 2017 (ITMNS) in Qingdao, China, September 13-15.
This year's event will focus on the essential role trace mineral nutrition plays in both healthy immune system function and the inflammatory responses that both animals and humans use to fight infection and disease.
"Zinpro established ITMNS as a platform for nutritionists and technical staff to discuss the latest research and more fully understand how trace mineral nutrition positively impacts animal performance and wellness," says Sou Fei Chin, Ph.D., vice president of sales – North Asia and China Operations, Zinpro Corporation. "Ongoing research continues to uncover new benefits for Zinpro Performance Minerals® in animal food production and trace minerals as a nutritional supplement for human wellness. We will use ITMNS to dive below the surface and share the reasons for these benefits."
Topics addressed at ITMNS 2017 will include research related to trace minerals and oxidative stress; manganese in immunity and inflammation; zinc's effect on intestinal health in poultry; trace minerals in aquaculture; trace minerals in egg production; inflammation and its consequence for livestock health and performance; and zinc deficiency, inflammation and arteriosclerosis.
