Vietnam to open a new poultry plant
HoaPhatPhuTho Poultry, a subsidiary of one of the largest conglomerates in Vietnam, HoaPhat Group, will be launching a new state-of-the-art hatchery that will be located in PhuTho, Hanoi, near to its layer farms.
The new facility will increased the company's start-up capacity to 1.5 million Hy-Line brown chicks per annum, and will incorporate a SmartHeat Incubator, for short periods of heat treatment during egg storage, four SmartSetPro-3 setters, each with a capacity of 57,600 hen eggs, two SmartSetPro-1 setters, each with a capacity of 19,200 hen eggs and seven SmartHatchPro hatchers, each with a capacity of 19,200 hen eggs, supplied by Pas Reform, a hatchery equipment supplier.
Additionally, Pas Reform will also supply and install climate control and hatchery automation systems for the HoaPhat project.
Le Tuan Anh, HoaPhat Poultry director, said that it is part of the group's long-term strategy to expand into the agricultural sector to diversify their business.
HoaPhat aims to provide over 300 million high-quality eggs for consumption to the market per annum, starting from 2020 onwards.
