Nonfat dry milk and whey prices climb
 
Philadelphia, PA - The tone in the market for most dairy products is firming. Beginning in the dry whey business, we hear the supply-demand situation tightened further this week. We picked up new stories of buyers having difficulty securing supply. Just a few weeks ago, $0.48/lb was an unthinkable number. Today, the CME settled at that price which is also an all-time high for the relatively new spot market.
