VIV China 2012: Your entry point into China's vast agribusiness market
Jointly organised by the Chinese National Animal and Veterinary Service (CNAVS) and VNU Exhibitions Europe,VIV China will be held at Beijing, China's New China International Exhibition Center from September 23th to 25th, returning with a renewed promise to better match-make quality buyers and suppliers from around the world.
Since 2000, VIV China has established itself to be the only international trade show in China's animal husbandry sector. In the 2010 edition, overseas visitors made up 21% of total visitors. This year, over 280 Chinese companies and more 100 than foreign companies will exhibit, including multinationals such as Aviagen, Big Dutchman, Buhler Group, Moba and Pas Reform.
Exhibitors from Britain, France, the Netherlands, South Korea and the United States will be represented in dedicated pavilions.
In its role as the nation's platform on animal production and meat processing, VIV China showcases the industry's developments through the Feed to Meat concept, bringing together supply and demand within the complete animal protein chain. The driver behind the chain concept is that animal feed and animal health are vital for meat quality and safety.
A new feature of VIV China is the International China Summit , which will take place on September 22 at Kuntai Hotel Beijing, preceding the show. The full day of sharing sessions is an opportunity for industry experts to gather dialogue and exchange knowledge on feed to meat production, livestock trends and food security. A plenary conference will feature presentations by Rabobank and Alltech, among four speakers, followed by 25 walkin seminars on topics relevant to farmers, nutritionists, engineers, feed producers, breeders, processors. Presenters from Britain and France will focus on pig breeding, in line with the growing demand in China for pig genetics
All these make VIV a must-attend show for stakeholders eager to expand their presence in the world's largest and most rapidly expanding agribusiness market.
