In four days, on August 20, Aqua Nor will open in Trondheim, Norway. Aqua Nor has been an important international meeting place for the aquaculture industry, and it is today the world's largest aquaculture technology exhibition. His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haakon will be present at the official opening of the Aqua Nor exhibition on Aug. 20.

Aqua Nor

Since 1979, Aqua Nor has been an important international meeting place for the aquaculture industry, and it is today the world's largest aquaculture technology exhibition. Its venue is the expanded Trondheim Spektrum. Part of the exhibition area is Skansen, near the centre of the city and in the harbor—about five minutes' walk from Trondheim Spektrum.
His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haakon will be present at the official opening of the Aqua Nor exhibition on Aug. 20. This is the 20th time that a member of the Norwegian royal family attends the opening of the exhibition.
Numerous seminars, mini-conferences, lectures, debates and presentations are held during this event, which has drawn about 20,000 visitors from up to 76 nations.

World Seafood Shanghai (14th Shanghai International Fisheries Seafood Exhibition; 14th Shanghai International Aquaculture Exhibition)

World Seafood Shanghai, meant to help importers and exporters reduce the supply and demand gap, has grown into a premium platform after 13 years of development, bringing together sellers and buyers in aquatic markets and helping foreign companies to expand in the Chinese market.

New Zealand Aquaculture Conference 2019

The 2019 New Zealand Aquaculture Conference will be held at the Marlborough Convention Centre in Blenheim.
It will be run over a two-day format with the official opening address and welcomes on the morning of day one.

Taiwan International Fisheries & Seafood Show 2019

Aquaculture Europe 2019 will be held at ESTREL Congress Centre in Berlin, Germany.

GOAL 2019 Conference

47th US-Japan Natural Resources Panel on Aquaculture

The 47th US-Japan Natural Resources Scientific Symposium on "Marine Aquaculture in a Changing Environment" will be held Nov. 12-15 in Okinawa.
The 47th UJNR Aquaculture Symposium is the last year of the current three-year theme of "Marine Aquaculture in a Changing Environment."
The UJNR Aquaculture Panel is a cooperative research exchange between the US and Japan, jointly addressing environmental and technical issues that affect the aquaculture industries of both nations.
This year's presentations will focus on the use of science and aquaculture technologies to increase food production to offset deficits from losses of wild fisheries and terrestrial agriculture due to environmental change or to aid in the recovery or enhance wild and farmed seafood impacted by environmental change and perturbation.
