Guangdong Province To Have New Lysine Plant With Production Capacity Of 22,000 Tons
China's Guangdong province will be producing lysine by September 2004.
Recently, a ground-breaking ceremony in Dawang Hi-Tech Industrial Zone, Zhaoqing City marked the commencement of the Guangdong Zhaoqing Star Lake Technology & Bio-Chemical Base project. The total area of this new Base is reportedly 2,000 mu or 1,334,000 square meters.
Xinghu Science & Technology Co. Ltd is investing RMB 2 billion in the project.
Phase one of the project is integrated with production lines of lysine (annual capacity at 22,000 tons), melamine (12,000 tons) and liquefied ammonia (12,000 tons), plus supporting power supply system, water works, starch sugar workshops, sewage treatment plant and 500-ton berth.
Upon completion, the main part of the project is expected to start production around September 2004.
