Job Title:                 Regional Service Technician

Report to:                Technical Regional Manager

Location:                 Singapore/SEA

The job:

To carry out service activities in professional manner where best practice and quality in all phases are key points to achieve satisfied customers.

The way you work gives the customer the trust that BAADER LINCO do its best to secure high and stable performance of the supplied BAADER LINCO equipment.

To participate in installation, commissioning and training tasks on new launched equipment and new equipment for you with the purpose to get detailed product knowledge and learn best practice about written and unwritten rules for the establishment of BAADER LINCO equipment.

To extend your knowledge and capability to do service on BAADER LINCO equipment and advise customer about preventive maintenance and spare parts required to maintain good performance of the equipment.

To be cost-conscious in your actions and diligent in your preparation of travel expenses and time reporting.

As you will serve and service our customers across Asia, extensive travelling is required..

Professional skills

Your professional background could e.g. be as maintenance and service technician from poultry processing, meat or food processing industry, marine service technicians etc. We will emphasize on the following skills:
  •  Process understanding, knowledge of both mechanical equipment and automated machinery systems, basic knowledge
     of maintenance
  •  Proficiency in English in writing and speaking (the group language is English).
  •  Experience with reporting in writing
  •  Knowledge of aftersales activities – service visits and spare parts sale
  •  Capable of reading and understanding technical manuals
  •  Knowledge of the poultry business or the food industry

Personal qualities
  •  You have an open, service-minded and accommodating personality
  •  You possess a strong drive and manage yourself on all levels
  •  You thrive on an extrovert role where the customer is always the centre
  •  You enjoy intense days with many balls in the air 
  •  You have flair for cooperating with your surroundings
  •  You are authoritarian and keep the perspective in stressful situations
  •  You take pride in delivering high quality and pay attention to detail
  •  You thrive on extensive travelling
