Adisseo to chair round table in IHSIG 2017

Adisseo, the Platinum Sponsor for the upcoming 5th symposium on poultry intestinal health from October 11-12, 2017 in Bangkok, organised by Intestinal Health Scientific Interest Group (IHSIG), would be chairing round-table discussions at the end of the symposium.

During the two-day programme, world-renowned scientists, such as Prof. Guo Yuming, Prof. Robert Moore, and Prof. Richard Ducatelle, will be keynote speakers to talk about poultry intestinal health issues, and how nutritional strategies can help to improve gut health status and animal performance, in the situation of antibiotic-reduced or free production.

The keynote speakers will lead each session to start the discussions on topics relating to the interaction between microbial metabolism and the gut wall, demonstrate alternative feed ingredients' effect on performance and gut health, review recent progress and challenges in antibiotic-free poultry production and how to manage coccidiosis and necrotic enteritis.

At the end of conference, round table discussions will be chaired by Dr. Geraert Pierre-Andre, innovation marketing director at Adisseo.

Collaborating with Novozymes, Adisseo has developed Alterion® as the complete probiotic solution specially designed for poultry to deliver consistent results. Made from a unique Bacillus subtilis strain, Alterion can act beneficially on both performance (-2.5% FCR at both standard and challenged conditions) and microbial balance. With the innovative formulation, Alterion can timely germinate in the gut, and work on three different levels - microbiota and pathogens, intestinal wall and immune system, and to provide the most efficient and consistent outcomes at the animal level each time.
