Nibulon ships over 50,000 tonnes Ukrainian corn to Japan
 

 

Agricultural Limited Liability Company Nibulon (Nikolayev), one of the largest producers and exporters of grains in Ukraine, supplied 50,400 tonnes of Ukrainian corn to Japan as of end of May 2012.

 

It was the first shipment of corn to Japan realised by Nibulon (previously, the company exported to barley and wheat to the country only). The company-buyer is not specified in the press-release.

 

Nibulon Ltd. was founded in 1991. The company is one of the largest operators on the grain market of Ukraine. The company owns elevator facilities with the general storing capacities of over 1.6 million tonnes, and its own trans-shipment terminal in Nikolayev.


Since 2009, Nibulon Ltd. is realising the project for future launching of new 17 elevators and river terminals, creation a fleet of 57 self-propelled and non-powered vessels (including 14 tugs) with the general deadweight of 200,000 tonnes. The land bank of the company totals 80,000 hectares in 11 regions of Ukraine.
