Business Development Manager - Myanmar

MISSIONS:


      •  Create, develop and promote our offering of product ranges, drawing upon your technical expertise to do so. Generate
          profits and carry out market prospecting initiatives.

      •  Constantly on the lookout for suitable M&A targets across the country.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


This position will report directly to the Business Development Manager - Asia and be based in Myanmar, He/she will be responsible for:
 
    1. Develop, optimize and monitor product ranges, as well as the composition and implementation of the action plan and
        activity monitoring plan


      •  Carry out monitoring of competitor activity and regulatory affairs

      •  Evaluate potential areas for development and identify market needs

      •  Validate areas for strategic focus

      •  Plan and schedule marketing initiatives, and put forward a budget for the plan

      •  Study pricing position of our products

      •  Monitor statistics for products sold and adapt action plan based on results

      •  Participate in the composition of bills of specification and new product/service processes

      •  Organize launches of new products/services

      •  Assess activity performance (effectiveness of marketing actions, profitability, customer satisfaction, etc.).

      •  Monitor statistics for products sold and adapt action plan based on results

      •  Collaborate with R&D, formulation dept. and affiliates to develop products and services


    2. Apply commercial strategy and develop sales


      •  Ensure commercial policy and business plans are applied for each market (sales objectives for each product/zone)

      •  Implement prospecting policy

      •  Organize sales plans (objectives, products, periods)


    3. Administer network of local specialists and affiliate operational teams

       
      •  Organize training programs

      •  Advise on strategy, sales development, etc.


    4. Act as a product specialist:


      •  Explain and upsell products and associated services offered to our customers

      •  Highlight and promote R&D advances with our customers

      •  Provide expert advice to customer teams

      •  Develop new technical approaches

      •  Provide technical support for the team and customers (compilation of technical notes, training, etc.)


    5. Others:


      •  Work with local administration

      •  Deal with industrial equipment provider

      •  Negotiate terms on implantation

      •  Set up a team and deal with lawyers, accountant, partner, etc.


THE SUCCESFULL APPLICANT:


      •  Bachelor or Master Degree in Animal Nutrition, Animal Science, Agricultural or Equivalent

      •  At least 5 years of practical market experience

      •  Significant experience in marketing or sales, or similar experience in another role.

      •  Proven track records of success in finding M&A Target and strong client relationship in similar industry in Myanmar
