European Conference on Aquaculture and Fisheries

This year's conference, also known as Euro Aqua 2019, provides a global arena for researchers and international scholars to present their findings. It will specifically provide an opportunity for the aquaculture and fisheries industry to learn about current and upcoming issues, explore new developments in culture technology and interact with like-minded individuals.
The event will have an exhibition of new feeds, fish welfare practices, antibiotics and instruments introduced by the laboratories in accordance with the event's theme "Ingenious Strategies towards Sustainable Aquaculture".
Nyan Taw, shrimp aquaculture consultant, will deliver one of the two keynote lectures and will speak on "Outdoor intensive shrimp farming systems in Asia: Commercial implementation to help control shrimp farming diseases".
Seafood Expo Russia

For the third consecutive year, the city of St. Petersburg will host the Global Fishery Forum and Seafood Expo, the Russian fishery sector's key event.
The Global Fishery Forum & Seafood Expo 2019 will take place in St. Petersburg, Russia's port city on the Baltic Sea. Organised by the Federal Agency for Fishery, the Forum is the fishery sector's key event in Russia and the perfect platform for aquaculture professionals to promote international trade, advanced equipment and technology.
Seafood Expo Russia will feature more than 300 exhibiting companies from 25 countries and is expected to attract more than 7,000 visitors from around the world. The three-day event will bring together leading aquaculture professionals to discuss the status and the latest developments of the seafood industry and potential emerging technologies.
This year, Russia will welcome Forum participants on the eve of its national Fisherman's Day, traditionally celebrated on the second Sunday in July.
The main theme of the third forum is "Ocean of Opportunities: Nature, Economy, and People." Topics covered include:
-- the digitalization of the fisheries industry
-- economic efficiency, social stability, and competition in natural resource industries
-- problems and potential of the fishing industry in the Arctic and Antarctic
-- new instruments for the economic regulation of the fishing industry in Russia

The Aquaculture Roundtable Series (TARS) 2019 intends to have renewed focus on Asia's aquafeeds sector to match the needs of shrimp and feed producers.
The ninth in the series, TARS 2019 is the third time it is covering aquafeeds, following the two held in 2011 (the first in the series) and 2015.
"As the growth of aquaculture in Asia is highly dependent on the feed sector, we have to ensure it is not the weakest link in the value chain", says Dr Zuridah Merican, chairperson of TARS 2019 and editor of Aqua Culture Asia Pacific.
TARS is a platform for all-public, private sector, academia, government and nongovernment organisations-to share new knowledge, deliberate on critical issues, and identify clear strategies to ensure a sustainable industry for the next generation. TARS is designed as a series of roundtable sessions to focus on specific sectors of the industry.
The theme for TARS 2019 is "Aquafeeds: Fit for Future".

Since 1979, Aqua Nor has been an important international meeting place for the aquaculture industry, and it is today the world's largest aquaculture technology exhibition. Its venue is the expanded Trondheim Spektrum. Part of the exhibition area is Skansen, near the centre of the city and in the harbor-about five minutes' walk from Trondheim Spektrum.
Numerous seminars, mini-conferences, lectures, debates and presentations are held during this event, which has drawn about 20,000 visitors from up to 76 nations.
At the exhibition, where all the latest innovations of importance are presented to the industry, visitors and exhibitors alike can participate in various social events both during the day and in the evening. 26th Annual Practical Short Course on Aquaculture Feed Extrusion, Nutrition, & Feed Management
August 25-30, 2019
College Station, Texas
Organised by the Process Engineering Research & Development Center in cooperation with the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences, the course topics include aquaculture nutrition; ingredients & vitamins; material handling and grinding; drying and coating; floating, sinking and high fat; and processing and troubleshooting.
There will also be demonsrations on dry extruder; single screw extruder; twin screw extruder; expander; vacuum and surface coaters; and products analysis lab.
World Seafood Shanghai (14th Shanghai International Fisheries Seafood Exhibition; 14th Shanghai International Aquaculture Exhibition)
August 28 – 30, 2019
World Seafood Shanghai, meant to help importers and exporters reduce the supply and demand gap, has grown into a premium platform after 13 years of development, bringing together sellers and buyers in aquatic markets and helping foreign companies to expand in the Chinese market.
In 2018, World Seafood Shanghai gathered over 1,500 enterprises from more than 20 countries and regions including the US, South Korea, Australia, Argentina, New Zealand, Norway, Spain, Denmark, Canada, Ecuador, Thailand, Oman, Pakistan, the Netherlands, Scotland, Indonesia, Vietnam, Venezuela, Mexico and Chile, besides China (including Taiwan Region).
World Seafood 2019 will be held in the Shanghai New International Expo Centre and will cover an exhibition area of 100,000 square metres in eight exhibition halls.
