Shaanxi completes the largest breeder chicken base in South-West region   

 
Jinxin Poultry breeder chicken base, which Fuping breeder chicken farm has invested RMB8 million to set up in Shaanxi, goes into operation. The base is mainly engaged in hatching of the chicks, feeding, vaccination and sales of an annual production of 110,000 layers. With the completion of the new chicken base, it can effectively lower the death rate of chicks and reduce the cost of operations.

Xiwang Group sets up largest corn delivery warehouse in Shandong 

 
Shandong Xiwang Group and Jilin Corn Centre Exchange (JCCE) signed a strategic cooperation agreement to convert Xiwang Group's corn warehouse into a corn delivery warehouse, which will be the largest in Shandong, capable of storing 300,000 tonnes of corn. This is the first time a corn delivery warehouse is built within a corn processing company instead of different granaries located in various parts of China.

Henan's Xinye sets up 100,000-mu integrated beef cattle demonstration area

   
The Xinye beef cattle integrated cluster demonstration area plan has passed professional assessment and will mark the launch of the first beef cattle industry cluster project in Henan. The area occupies 100,000 mu, incorporating beef cattle industry, extended industry and service industry such as organic fertiliser and forage production, cold chain logistics and distribution, and leisure and tourism. By 2020, the GDP of the beef cattle demonstration area and related industries will reach RMB35 billion, fetching profits of RMB5.8 billion.

Yurun Group's RMB300 million broiler processing plant starts operations in Hubei  

    
Yurun Group's broiler processing line in Yichang city, Hubei has started operations. The RMB300 million plant, which includes a breeder demonstration zone, has an annual slaughtering capacity of 30 million broilers. It is set to generate an annual revenue of RMB800 million when production is in full gear.

Wens Group builds an integrated 400,000-head hog farm in Hunan's Jianghua 

 
Wens Group and Jianghua Yao Autonomous County in Hunan signed a contract to build an integrated 400,000-head hog farm in Hunan. Over the next few years, Wens Group will invest RMB300 million to develop the pig breeding industry by gradually building four breeder hog farms, three technical service divisions and one feed mill capable of producing 25 tonnes of feed per hour. When fully operational, the facility can produce a total output of 400,000 hogs annually, generating RMB600 million in annual sales.

Guizhou's Wudang district invests RMB1.5 billion in dairy cattle development zone  

       
Wudang dairy cattle farming zone will see an implementation of eight development projects, costing RMB1.528 billion in total this year. The major project of the eight includes development of Wudang district dairy cattle farm as a base for tourism, complemented with culture and entertainment, business services and eco-residential land.

Others in the project include transit hubs at the new dairy cattle farm and the East Railway Station building, expansion of three roads, Chengjia dam interchange and 150,000-sq-metres replacement dwellings with resettlement and compensation plans announced later.
