Lohmann appoints new President
Dr. Frank Sterner has been appointed as the President of Lohmann Animal Health International, according to company CEO Dave Zacek.
In his new role, Sterner will be in charge of the day-to-day operations of Lohmann Animal Health International's Winslow, Maine headquarters.
Sterner joined Lohmann in February 2008 as Vice President of Biotechnology. Prior to joining the company, Sterner was Vice President Research and Development for a leading pharmaceutical company. He also previously worked for Maine Biological Laboratories, Inc. and a top poultry integrator.
Hypor team expands in the US
Hypor US has announced the appointment of Graydon Bell to the position of Sales Representative, US, in view of continued growth in the American market.
Based in Wahpeton, North Dakota, Bell brings experience in all aspects of swine production which includes several years in a senior management position of a 60,000 sow farrow to finish production system.
Graydon's knowledge and experience with genetics, nutrition, herd health, marketing and finance, as well as the understanding of the contribution genetics makes to profitable hog production, will be a valuable asset, according to Gerjan van Alst, General Manager, Hypor.
