Ukraine eyes four-million-tonne barley deal with Saudi Arabia
Ukraine is pursuing to have a contract with Saudi Arabia on exporting as much as four million tonnes of barley to the Middle Eastern country, Agriculture Minister Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said.
Saudi officials will arrive in Ukraine next month to discuss an accord, Prysyazhnyuk said in a statement e-mailed.
Ukraine aims to almost double grain shipments to Saudi Arabia to seven million tonnes, the minister said in March, without giving further details.
