Market analysis

As lysine producers limited output, prices of lysine were mostly stable. Feed millers restocked depleting inventories cautiously, lending some support to the market.

In Europe, price quotes were at EUR1.16/kg.

Market forecast

With the hog disease situation severe and soymeal market staying weak, lysine sales are unlikely to be high. However, with producers limiting production, prices are seen stable to modestly higher.
