Iran shows interest in purchasing Kazakh grain
Iranian deputy foreign minister for Asian, Pacific and CIS countries affairs, Seyyed Abbas Araqchi, said during a meeting with Kazakh Foreign Minister Yerzhan Kazykhanov that Iran is very much interested in buying Kazakh grain and its transit to other countries.
"Buying and selling grain is one of the regular issues that we consider in our discussions on economic cooperation with the Republic of Kazakhstan. We will discuss this issue in more detail at a meeting with my counterpart, Kazakh Deputy Foreign Minister Kayrat Sarybayev. We are interested in buying grain from Kazakhstan and will continue this policy in the future," Seyyed Abbas Araqchi said.
Transit of Kazakh grain from Iran to other countries is also one of the most important issues of the cooperation, he said.
