Dairy market tone is mixed


Philadelphia, PA- Barrel prices fell while blocks managed to increase modestly during this four-day trading week. From our network, we hear barrels have become more available, while 40-lb blocks have, at times, been "tight." This is worth noting. It's hard to remember the last time that our contacts used this word - "tight"- to describe cheese markets. The supply-demand fundamentals of the cheese market have changed.
