AA broiler
 

Demand for chicken products remained stable due to the approach of Qingming Festival. However, as prices surged by a lot recently, AA broiler prices consolidated lower by 0.60% during the week in review.
 

Day-old chick prices were mostly stable in the range of RMB2.50-3/chick.
 

China breed broiler

 

China breed broiler market remained stable. Prices slid marginally by 0.30%, mainly due to price dips in the eastern region of China.
 

Chick prices softened amid increased availability over the week.

 

 

Market forecast


Broiler prices are seen stable to higher amid stable demand. However, as slaughterhouses are reluctant to stockpile high inventories, the upward potential of the market will be limited.
