High prices of vitamin A dampened buying interest, which was already weak after the Chinese New Year holidays. Hence, vitamin A producers cut prices in attempts to stimulate demand even though supplies stayed tight.

With livestock markets underperforming, and export orders slow, vitamin A market will continue to be under pressure.
