NFDM bounces higher after touching all-time low
Philadelphia, PA– Nonfat dry milk prices reached a new all-time low of $0.6475/lb yesterday. Today that changed with prices rebounding 3.75 cents to a 16-day high. We heard anecdotes this week suggesting an uptick in export orders helped firm the market. International buyers came looking for a deal and the USA had lower priced milk powder than European and New Zealand suppliers. In whey, sales were also said to be robust this week.
