Zagro launches Phytosolution product range

Zagro group has launched its new Phytosolution product range during this year's Chinese New Year celebration in Singapore.

The product is positioned as a health-promoting supplement for livestock and aquaculture.

"It is a special recipe that you will never find it in other products," Beng Swee Poh, CEO of Zagro group, highlighted.

"The uniqueness of our phytosolution is a blend of Indian Ayurveda and Chinese medicinal herbs. The herbs used in our recipes can be traced back from the 6th century BC for Indian Ayurveda herbs and Shang dynasty, 14th century BC, for Chinese medicinal herbs. These herbs have been used as a health promoter and for therapeutic purposes in humans for centuries, and as they are proven to be effective, they are still being used worldwide. We adopt these knowledge which have been accumulated for thousands of years to develop a phytosolution product range for livestock," explained Poh.

As consumers and the authorities put substantial pressure on livestock producers for safer foods, the use of chemical or synthetic products has been limited. Some of the synthetic products have been completely banned. Dr. Ekachai Jenwitheesuk, Regional Technical Manager, said this will negatively affect overall production cost and farm productivity, and people in the livestock production industry are looking for new sources of feed supplements to replace synthetic products.

Zagro addresses this challenge by offering the phytosolution product range, a plant-based health supplement to help its clients to maintain the health and function of important organs of animals, i.e., gut, liver, respiratory tract, and immune system. There are five products in this range: Cholin-Z, a natural choline supplement; Orecim, a gut health promoting agent; Hepzag, a liver tonic; Respizag, a respiratory health promoting agent; and Immunozag, an immune optimising agent.
