BioMar announces new top management in salmon division
BioMar Group has recently welcomed its new executive management in the company's salmon division.
It announced a new vice president of the salmon division as well as a new managing director in Norway. Both personnel are promoted internally from within the group where they have delivered remarkable business results in other executive management positions.
Patrick Campbell, the new appointed VP, was the managing director of BioMar's Scottish business unit and has previously led the global R&D function within BioMar Group. He has also been one of the main drivers behind BioMar's solid business footprint in Australia. Campbell started as a product developer with BioMar in 1998.
Håvard Jørgensen, the new managing director in Norway, serves as BioMar's global R&D director. He has been leading the global R&D organisation since 2015 and has a very solid insight in to the Norwegian industry through his R&D work within salmon as well as through his work heading the Norwegian industry organisation "Sjømatbedriftene". Jørgensen is based in Trondheim.
"I feel very fortunate that we have been able to allocate two very strong executive profiles to support our focus on the salmon division. The salmon division comprises a very important part of our business and we consider the division a vital driver of our innovation and sustainability efforts," said Carlos Diaz, CEO of BioMar Group.
"I look very much forward to continuing the positive development of our products and services within the world of salmon."
The current VP of the salmon division, Jan Sverre Røsstad, is leaving BioMar Group after 12 years heading the Norwegian business unit as well as the division.
Røsstad will support the new management during the transition period to ensure a smooth business handover.
