SalMar CFO Trond Tuvstein resigns
Norwegian salmon farmer SalMar has announced the resignation of its chief financial officer, Trond Tuvstein.
Tuvstein has been with SalMar since January 2012, when he first held the position of head of investor relations. In October 2013, he was appointed new CFO.
Tuvstein will stay with the company until the end of June 2019, SalMar said in a news release.
SalMar said it has accepted Tuvstein's decision "with regret" and that it would promptly start the process of recruiting his replacement.
"SalMar thanks Tuvstein for his efforts and valuable contributions as part of the top management for over seven years", CEO Olav Andreas Ervik said.
SalMar is one of the world's largest and most efficient producers of farmed salmon. It owns 100 licenses for marine production of Atlantic salmon in Norway.
